Natural Dog Grooming Products: ‘Isle of Dogs’ Featured

Dog Health, Beauty, Wellbeing

Isle of Dogs has created a dog grooming system that addresses each dog’s unique breed and coat. The brand founders uncovered groundbreaking grooming solutions developed by a British chemist, featuring two valuable natural substances. One is a cold-pressed oil known as Evening Primrose Oil, while the other is called Royal Jelly. The solutions were based on a specific emulsion that released unusually high levels of natural oils in water-based products. The unique formula resulted in a more healthy, smooth  and shiny coat for dogs, and is the primary principle behind the Isle of Dogs system.

Isle of Dogs have found that before you can properly treat a dog, you must first take into account essential traits. Any dog will be placed into a category formed by several variables: a) one of over 165 breeds, b) four genders (including spayed and neutered), c) coat textures and colors, d) a few age groups, and e) a variety of lifestyles. Each one of them will have different grooming needs, so identifying and addressing these individual traits is quite relevant. Unlike any other grooming system, Isle of Dogs recognizes the complexity of your dog’s coat and skin, prescribing properly matched holistic products. Isle of Dogs system uses a combination of shampoo, conditioner, sprays, and coat supplements to maximize your dog’s health and beauty from the inside out.

Isle of Dogs Provides Comfort

Many pet owners don’t know how to take proper care of their dogs when it comes to grooming. They sometimes use human shampoos, with the incorrect pH balances. They don’t bathe their dogs often enough, fearing shampoos may dry their dog’s coat. Sound familiar? Sometimes they may even think the process is a big hassle. But in reality, our dogs are family members, too. They play with our kids and they sleep on or in our beds. We even take them to day care, travel with them, and don’t we all love to pamper them.

But somehow, when it comes to grooming, it would seem as if itching and scratching are supposed to be commonplace in dogs. This need not be the case, and Isle Of Dogs is committed to helping you keep your dog as comfortable and immaculate as possible, and reaching his or her full potential.

Actress Amy Davidson’s Yorkies go on a Shopping Spree

Amy Davidson is a talented actress and avid dog lover, residing in Los Angeles, CA. She is best known for her role as Kerry Hennessy in the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. Recently, Amy just wrapped an independent film called Another Stateside.  You can catch her on a Vegas episode airing next Monday the 19th as well.

Amy agreed to review her shopping experience on Dealwagger.com in exchange for a Shopping Spree toward her purchases for her two beautiful Yorkies named Sophie and Stanley. We asked Amy a few questions in regards to her experience shopping on our website from step 1 to the delivery of her order, which follows.

The Interview

Dealwagger: Hi Amy, so how was the overall user experience once you logged on to Dealwagger.com?

Amy: The website was not only very user-friendly, but it was fun and easy to browse. There were many subcategories to choose from, yet all of the products had clear images and descriptions, which was very helpful when choosing the right products for Stanley & Sophie.

Dealwagger: Can you name three highlights that made your experience?

Amy: Sure. To start, the banners on the homepage were not only really cute, but they taught me about different features such as free shipping for orders over $75 and learning about the current Featured Charity of the Month.  Another thing that I appreciated was the clarity of the product images. Some of them even had the nutrition fact labels on the back accessible and readable, which made me feel like I was really at a local pet shop, but in the comfort of my home. Last but not least, when you add a product to your cart, you are given a clear indicator asking whether you would like to continue shopping or if you prefer to checkout. I felt in control and it wasn’t a frustrating process like I’ve experienced many times before on other sites.

Dealwagger: We are glad you found those features useful. We always listen to the suggestions of our customers and visitors alike, so we can build the best discount pet supply shop online today. Would you mind sharing what you purchased for Stanley & Sophie via Dealwagger.com and why you made those choices?

Amy:  Yes, the best part.

1. Frontline Plus for Dog 0-22lbs: Stanley and Sophie had some bouts with fleas this year as many pets do. Flea meds are a must to relieve them from discomfort and so they don’t eat the fleas and develop a case of worms! Find it HERE.

2. N-Bone Twistix Original- 5.5oz: These chews are great for dog dental health. They freshen breath and reduce plaque and tartar with its twisty design that finds its way into the crevices of their gums. Find it HERE.

3. Premier Pet Busy Buddy Waggle: This product triples as a toy, chew, and treat dispenser. The dogs can’t get enough of playing with this and they are even rewarded with treats that randomly dispense while shaken around. Keeps them busy and tires them out! Find it HERE.

4. Himalayan Dog Chew Dog Treats: 3.5oz : I chose these because they were highly recommended by the Dealwagger.com staff. They are made of yak and cow milk using traditional methods from the Himalayas, with no chemicals or preservatives. They are hard, long-lasting treats that give the dogs something tasty to work on for hours. All dogs should have a nutritious chew like this! Find them HERE.

5. Zukes Z-Bone Mini – .5oz : These Z-Bones are rich in antioxidants, manageable for smaller dogs, and are super yummy. They are a healthy way to clean teeth and freshen breath for dogs. I was informed that Zuke’s was a very eco-conscious company out of Colorado so I thought it was worth the try! Find it HERE.

6. Angels Eyes Natural Tear Stain Remover for Dogs: Have you ever seen dogs with clumpy tear stains? Its an issue many Terriers deal with. Lucky for them, there is a safe product out there that gets rid of unsightly tear stains within 3-5 weeks! Amy reports that Angels Eyes has both reduced watering and crusties around their eyes. They also taste like liver which the dogs love. Find it HERE.

7. ClearQuest Biodegradable Waste Bags: Every dog has to do its business and every its every owner’s responsibility to pick up their waste. I figured why not do it better and buy biodegradable waste bags that were affordable and perfect for a refill. Find them HERE.

Dealwagger: Did everything arrive in one piece and timely?

Amy: Yes, indeed. I received multiple e-mails updating me about shipping and tracking and all the items arrived in one piece within 4 days. It was really fun opening our box of goodies and spoiling the little ones! I want to thank Dealwagger for giving us this opportunity.

Dealwagger: You, Stanley, and Sophie are featured on our Wags of Fame page, thanks for partnering with us! Best of luck to you and your pups.

“My Dog Eats Too Fast”: Solution Here

The Issue

I had never realized that so many individuals had dogs that scarfed their kibble too fast until I began receiving e-mails on occasion, asking if I knew of any specific treatments to cure this unfortunate problem. Apparently, when dogs eat too fast, they either throw-up or they often swallow too much air along with their food. That can lead to the dangerous disease called “bloat”.

Support A Charity with Every Purchase

Supporting charities are an important part of today’s business culture when it comes to progressive companies looking to give back to their communities by offering win-win opportunities for both their clients and customers. More specific to dealwagger.com, when a business designs a deal to be broadcast on our website, we are proud to give them the option of supporting a charity of their choice (animal-charity or other such as a battered women’s shelter). Furthermore, we are committed to dedicating a percentage of the profits per deal, out of our own pocket, to a charity of our deal-partner’s choice.
We hope that giving our deal-partner (the company running a deal via dealwagger.com) the option of supporting a charity of their own choice will encourage a stronger relationship between all parties involved. These parties include our deal-partner, the charity organization, dealwagger.com, and most importantly: our customers. If each of these parties come together to design and take advantage of some really worthwhile deals on pet products and supplies, the difference we can make is almost immeasurable. The amount of lives that could be affected positively, by each simple deal, could really prove to be world-changing.
I will leave you with a piece of knowledge that a very holy man passed on to me in Jerusalem a couple years back. Do you know what the only element in existence is, that when you give of it, you do not lose anything? Take a moment to ponder this. If you have already given up, here is the answer: Fire. When we light a candle for example, we are able to pass that flame on to others and light their candles without losing our own flame. That is the beauty of the system we will incorporate via dealwagger.com. Our goals are to a) save customers money and provide their pets with quality products, b) offer an increase in exposure and sales to business merchants who become deal-partners, c) give an opportunity for everyone to support charities in need, d) create community by sharing resources and ideas among one another.
There is really no losing with dealwagger.com and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store for you an your pets come December. Stay tuned for our official launch TBA and if you know of a company who is interested in running a deal via dealwagger.com or if you are interested yourself, feel free to email us with any information at info@dealwagger.com. If a company that you refer ends up designing a deal via dealwagger.com, you will be rewarded with a complimentary gift or dealwagger.com reward points that can be used toward future purchases.

Take a Closer Look at Your Pet’s Teeth

About a year and a half ago, I adopted a beautiful “Orange Flame” Siamese female cat from a nice grade school teacher who lived near Los Feliz in Los Angeles, CA. The teacher had also adopted Isabella from a woman who rescued Isabella off the streets while she was pregnant, but claimed Isabella was too aggressive toward her older cat, and therefore, Isabella had to go. I took a chance with her and its been working out wonderfully. Unfortunately, no one knows where her babies went, and by the way: Isabella’s breath doesn’t exactly help you work up an appetite.
My neighbor Amy was the first one to mention to me that perhaps Isabella has a problem with her teeth considering her breath was so vial. I considered this, but had been quite busy with dealwagger.com and other life activities so I let the thought pass. After all, she was eating well and since I’d known her she was always a bit grumpy and growly. Just yesterday, Amy noticed that she had an infected tooth and after I took a look, I felt so bad and guilty that I hadn’t noticed it sooner. Isabella may have been in pain or discomfort all this time and I could have fixed this months ago.
Aside from feeling guilt that your beloved pet might have been in pain unknown to you, it is very dangerous to leave a dental issue neglected for your pet. After doing some research and heeding some warning from people with common knowledge of pet health, I learned that an infected tooth can poison our pets, causing internal organ failure eventually.
I originally found out an answer to my questions by a vet on justanswer.com where experts answer questions under almost any subtopic of things. Click here to see the exact thread I discovered re: my cat’s infected tooth/stinky breath.

According to Cat World, it is prudent for cat owners to keep a regular check of your cat’s mouth & seek veterinary attention if you notice anything amiss. Things to look for include;
  • Bad breath (this is one of the most common symptoms of a dental problem)
  • Drooling
  • Lumps or bumps
  • Red, inflamed or bleeding gums
  • Reluctance to eat, especially hard foods
  • Reluctance to groom

This morning I took her into the vet and after 1 minute he declared “Isabella is a healthy cat, but she does have an abscessed tooth that needs to come out”. Isabella was then left at the hospital and when I called to ask about giving her a rabies shot as well, they mentioned that Isabella is done with her dentistry already and that she had 4 extractions. Wow. I can pick her up in 2 hours.

Barking Tickets: Is Parking Not ‘Ruff’ Enough?

As if the public doesn’t already get harassed by Parking Services in a crowded big city like Los Angeles, City officials chose to change the first letter of the word Parking to create a new fine and source of income for the city known as Barking. Prepare to pick up your Excessive Barking fines because you did not follow the City’s strict Barking Regulations.

Morality Lost – Gun Leash for Dogs

When an individual or company racks their brains in order to come up with a new design concept when it comes to pet products, one would assume they would consider functionality, attractiveness, and a product that appeals to as many pet owners as possible in order to increase sales and consider your new concept a success.

Today, we ask ourselves and the greater community of pet owners, “What went wrong?” We have come across a new dog leash design concept that comes in the form of a realistic-type handgun as the handle, which naturally points down at your dog as you take them for a walk.

We find ourselves racking our own brains wondering who were the bright minds to consider this a moral and potentially successful design concept. What would children think and conceptualize as they hold onto a gun-handle as they walked their pets? There are so many different levels or wrong taking place here and anyone that considers themselves part of the pet community and industry has no place introducing icons of violence into the same arena where unconditional love and affection for our pets exists.

Would anyone in the child or infant care industry design a concept involving a gun whatsoever? Why should this be any different. After the creators of this gun-leash design, Art Lebedev Studios, got whip-lashed by negative feedback on Dog-Milk.com, they decided to change the hand-gun to a water-gun design. So now we are squirting our dog with a water gun pointed at their heads instead, unfortunately, as the original design remains immortalized in the true pet-lover’s psyche.

What is your opinion of this dog leash gun-design concept? Do you think we are taking this too personally and hard over at dealwagger.com? Feel free to leave a comment or feedback sharing your opinion and let’s work together as a community to make sure to prevent this concept’s lifespan and is put out of its misery before it affects our society in a real negative way.

We appreciate your readership and interest in improving the quality of life of you and your pet’s, which is exactly our mission at dealwagger.com.
